I just recently loaned my favorite fabric baby carrier to a friend and thought that it deserved a post to let all of you know about how fabulous I think it is. There are TONS of baby carriers out there and if you feel the way I do, it is overwhelming. I had heard of the K'tan Baby Carrier from a friend, but wrote it off and went with the ever popular Moby Wrap. I know there are a lot of people out there who love the Moby, but for me it just didn't work. I couldn't ever quite get the wrap technique right to make it comfortable and supportive. And speaking of being overwhelmed, the amount of fabric to deal with was way too much for me.

After giving the Moby a go for a few weeks, I ventured out to find something that I could put on faster and easier. I tried on the K'tan at a local store and really liked it. It is super fast and easy to put on and the fit was supportive. And, if you like the different ways you can "wear" your baby with the Moby, then you will like the K'tan as well because you can place the baby in the wrap in the same ways. The one downside of the K'tan is that it is a "sized" wrap, so it is best to try it on to see what size you need (XS-XL).
